Rudolph A. White

Rudolph A. White, 68, of Williamsport, passed away on Monday, December 29, 2025, at his residence. He was born in Jersey City, New Jersey on March 24, 1957, a son of the late Leroy Haynes and Clementine Hillman.

Rudolph graduated from Henry Snyder High School in Jersey City and then pursued a career as a certified nursing assistant. He worked at both The Williamsport Home and WeCare at Loyalsock. Rudolph was a member of First United Methodist Church, Williamsport. In 2021, Rudolph married the love of his life, the former Brandy L. Matthews, who survives. He loved taking care of his family and children and appreciated every moment spent with them. In his free time, Rudolph enjoyed riding his motorcycle.

In addition to his loving wife, Brandy, Rudolph is survived by two sons, Malachi White and Rudolph White II; a daughter, Amirykal White all of Williamsport; two stepchildren, Velton Stafford of Williamsport; and Nija Stafford of Philadelphia; four step grandchildren; four brothers, Dwaine (Vivian) Sheppard of Delaware; Leroy (Denise Moore) Haynes of New Jersey; Derrick Haynes of Maryland; and Courtney (Jeannie) Haynes of Maryland; three sisters, Linda (Michael) Combs of Florida; Shanna Lawrence of Williamsport; and Tara (Walter) Haynes-Robinson of Williamsport; and host of nieces and nephews.

Rudolph is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Michael Hillman and Ramon Haynes.

Celebration of life services for Rudolph will be held at 1pm on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at First Church Williamsport, 604 Market St., Williamsport, with Reverend Matthew Lake officiating. Family and friends are invited to a time of visitation from 12pm until the time of the service on Saturday at the church.
