Sharon J. Liddic

Sharon J. Liddic, 70, of Williamsport, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 19, 2026, at Edenbrook North in Williamsport. She was born in Williamsport on October 28, 1955, a daughter of the late Leslie and Viola (Lovell) Liddic.

Sharon attended Greenview Alliance Church in Montoursville. She worked at the Grit newspaper and as a housekeeper for many years. Sharon loved being “Meme” to her grandchildren and great grandchildren, spending as much time as she could with them. She enjoyed having family gatherings and liked to socialize. Sharon often went out with her friends and, in her younger years, liked to go camping. She would pass the time playing games on her tablet.

Sharon is survived by a daughter, Amy McKissack (Donnie) of Williamsport; a son, Jimmie Fields, Jr. of Williamsport; 11 grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Sharon is preceded in death by a brother, Walter Liddic, Sr. and a sister, Carol Edwards.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at Maneval Allen Redmond Cremation and Funeral Home, 500 W. Fourth St., Williamsport. Family and friends are invited to attend a public viewing from noon to 1:00pm on Saturday at the funeral home.
