Obituary

SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT - Shirley A. (Yaw) Keiser, 82, passed away Sunday, June 9, 2019 at her home surrounded by family.

Shirley was married in 1956 to the late Charles L. Keiser who had passed away in 1998.

Shirley was born on July 3, 1936 in Williamsport and was the daughter of the late Clifford and Evelyn Yaw.  She graduated from Williamsport High School.  She worked as an inspector at GTE Sylvania in Muncy/Reach Road.  She retired after 35 years of service.  After retirement, she then worked as a greeter at Wal-Mart.  Shirley was a member of the Trinity Episcopal Church, Williamsport and enjoyed vacationing in Ocean City, Maryland.  Most of all, she enjoyed her family and especially her grandchildren.

Shirley is survived by one daughter; Debbie A. (Tim Higgins) of S. Williamsport, two grandchildren; Shiryl L. Keiser-McCarty of S. Williamsport and Charles M. Keiser-McCarty of San Diego, CA, one sister; Judy Palmatier of Montoursville, numerous nieces and nephews and good friend; Wanda Eichenlaub of S. Williamsport.  In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers; Fred, Clifford and Donald and two sisters; Kate Sargent and Esther Joe.

In keeping with Shirley's wishes, interment will be private in Wildwood Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Trinity Episcopal Church, 844 West 4th St., Williamsport, PA 17701.

Arrangements are being handled by the Maneval Allen Redmond Funeral Home, 500 West 4th St., Williamsport.
