Timothy Edward Phlegar

SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT - Timothy E. “Tim” Phlegar, 64, passed away Friday, April 24, 2026 at his home after becoming disabled and many years of medical issues, including PTSD.

He was married to the former Heidi A. (Knowlden), who survives, on May 24, 1988. They would have shared 38 years of marriage this May.

Tim was born on March 26, 1962 in Williamsport and was the son of the late James, Sr. and Margaret (Brennan) Phlegar. He graduated from South Williamsport High School in 1980 and then WACC with an associate degree in welding. He had joined the US Navy and worked with Interior Communications. He had also worked at Miele Amusements.

In addition to his wife, Heidi, he is survived by one daughter; Carlie Jean Stanton (David) of Wilton, New Hampshire, two brothers; James Phlegar, Jr. and family of Williamsport and Patrick Phlegar and family of Florida and one godson; Quentin Gallagher of Williamsport.

In keeping with his wishes, there will be no services held.
