WILLIAMSPORT - Virginia L. (Liddic) Sechrist, 79, died on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at Rose View Center.

She was married to Robert L. Sechrist, Sr. for 61 years and who survives.

Virginia was born on February 19, 1936 in Williamsport and was the daughter of the late Walter and Anna (Stein) Liddic.  She and her husband were owners of businesses in the area.  She was a member of First Baptist Church, Williamsport and had sold Avon for many years.  She enjoyed traveling with her husband.

In addition to her husband Robert, she is survived by one son; Robert L. (Isabelle) Sechrist, Jr. of Muncy, one daughter; Debbie J. Sechrist of Williamsport, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and one brother; Leslie (Myra) Liddic of Williamsport.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters; Edna, Lorraine, Anna and May.

There will be a public viewing 6 to 7 p.m. Friday, January 15, 2016 at the James C. Maneval Funeral Home, Ltd., 500 W. 4th St., Williamsport where the funeral will be held at 7:00 p.m.  The Reverend Larry K. Waltz will officiate the service.  Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
