Beryl E. (Woolever) Boyer

WILLIAMSPORT - Beryl E. (Woolever) Boyer, 84, passed away Sunday, August 22, 2021 at the Gatehouse, Williamsport.

She was the wife of Walter V. Boyer, Jr., who survives and they have shared 63 years as husband and wife.

Beryl was born on February 11, 1937 in Williamsport and was the daughter of the late Otto and Alvern (Sheffler) Woolever.  She had graduated from Williamsport High School and had attended Lycoming College.  She had worked at CA Reed, Little League, Lycoming College, Williamsport School District and then retired from Loyalsock School District.  Beryl enjoyed knitting, reading, her dogs, but most of all, her family.  She found joy in love and was always supportive and positive.  Her life tribute can be summed up as; guiding, sharing, honoring, giving and loving.

In addition to her husband Walter, Beryl is survived by one son; Daniel O. Boyer (Michelle Alexander) Boyer, of Loyalsock, one daughter; Cheryl (Boyer) Pulizzi (Mark) of S. Williamsport, seven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son; Walter Valentine Boyer, III and two sisters; Patricia Johnson and Nancy Ernst.

Graveside services will be private at the convenience of the family in Montoursville Cemetery.
