Carol J (Reichert) Gutberlet

Carol J. Gutberlet, age 77, of Williamsport, PA, passed away at her home on April 3, 2024. She was born on May 31, 1946, in Baltimore, MD.

Carol dedicated 40 years of her life to serving as an OBGYN Nurse, demonstrating compassion and expertise in her field. Beyond her professional endeavors, she found joy in quilting, needlework, and being an avid reader. She was a member of the New Covenant United Church of Christ, where her faith played a significant role in her life.

Carol is preceded in death by her father, Frederick Reichert, her mother, Edith Reichert, and her sister, Janice Galiani. She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, David I. Gutberlet, her sons Christopher (Nora) Gutberlet, Andrew (Heather) Gutberlet, and Matthew (Spring) Gutberlet, and her 8 grandchildren: Max, Ethan, Riley, Lily, Cooper, Violet, Nadia, and Flynn.

Services to celebrate Carol's life will be held at New Covenant United Church of Christ, 202 E. 3rd Street, Williamsport, PA, on April 12, 2024. Visitation will take place from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a service at 11:00 AM officiated by Pastor Bradley Walmer.

The family suggests contributions in Carol's honor be made to New Covenant United Church of Christ.
