Debra Parr Obituary

It is with great sadness that the family of Debra Kay Parr announce her passing Wednesday, September 9th, 2020. 

Born June 8th 1955 in Chambersburg, PA to Patricia Parr and Leon Stoner.  Debbie as she was called, relocated to Williamsport in the early 80’s where she remained to raise her children Demond and Deidra in Loyalsock Township.  Debbie worked providing adult day care and home health assistance as her career of choice and was known for her work ethics and compassionate treatment of all with whom she worked.  She was well known in her community as a caring mother, grandmother, friend to all and a good neighbor.  She enjoyed cooking, playing cards and bingo.  Distance was never too far for her to travel to visit family and friends.  Preceded in death by her father, Debbie is survived by her Mother Patricia, her son Demond Parr and daughter Deidra Reed her pride and joy.  Two grandchildren Davion and Dason whom she adored.  And, her siblings Reginald Parr, Tony Parr, Clarence Parr, Ronald Parr and Lisa (Mike) Harris.

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, September 19 at 2:00pm at Maneval Allen Redmond Funeral Home, 500 W. Fourth St., Williamsport.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation from 1-2pm on Saturday at the funeral home.
