Diane Marie Scott

Diane Marie Scott, 63 of Williamsport passed away Sunday afternoon May 21, 2023 at her residence surrounded by family. She was born in Hazleton September 16, 1959 a daughter to Michael Acri and Anna Marie D’Angelo Acri.  She was a graduate of Hazleton High School and was a Licensed Practical Nurse for nearly 40 years. Diane was very proud of her career and accomplishments as a Nurse.  She was employed by Bayada Pediatrics Home Health of Williamsport. She worked with many children & families over the years in Lycoming, Sullivan, Bradford, and surrounding counties.  In the past when she lived in Estella, she worked for P.C.O.M., Laporte PA. She ran the WIC office, and assisted with the Family Planning program in Sullivan County. 

Despite the challenges of life, Diane remained an incredibly positive person, always looking for ways to spread love and kindness to those around her. She found joy in the simple things in life, like going to the local farmers markets, overnight trips to see family, driving to overlooks, going out for ice cream, visiting the newest bakery in town with her best friend, and cooking meals for others.

And while she may be gone from this earth, her legacy lives on within the hearts of those who she touched with her unwavering love and kindness. 

Her survivors include her sons Thomas Price, Cody Price, Carl Price, Antonio Price, and Step Son Sincere Scott; along with her daughters Jessica Raabe, Chanan Price, India Price, and Sonya Price.  Additionally, she has 5 beautiful grandchildren, many nieces & nephews, and one sister Brenda Plesh who she loved heart and soul.

Sorrowfully, Diane was predeceased by her beloved daughter Corene “Bean” Price on April 27, 2023.

Diane was also predeceased by her parents Michael & Anna Marie Acri, brother Mike Acri, sister Sharon Shostak, and nephew James “Jimma” Plesh. 

In accordance with Diane’s wishes there will be no public visitation or services.  Private services will be held in her honor, by Diane’s  family at their convenience in Sullivan County, PA.
