James H. "Jim" Harder, II

COGAN STATION - James H. “Jim” Harder, II, 75, passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2018 at his residence.

He was married on May 18, 1974 to the former Carol A. (Cline), who survives, and they have celebrated almost 44 years of marriage.

James was born in Harrisburg on April 29, 1942 and was the son of the late James H. Harder, Sr. and Vivian F. (Houser) Wright.  He graduated from Loyalsock High School and served with the US Army.  He owned and operated Jim’s Auto Sales and retired August 31, 2015.  He was a member of the Fairlawn Christian Alliance and enjoyed old cars and car shows.

In addition to his wife Carol, he is survived by one son; Jonathan T. Harder (Brenda) of Unityville, one daughter; Rebecca S. Woodring of Williamsport, one granddaughter; Alexis J. Harder and one brother; Stephen S. Wright (Karen) of S. Williamsport.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister; Susan F. Wright.

Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
