Joan L. (Overdurf) Livingston

WILLIAMSPORT - Joan L. Livingston passed away at the Williamsport Nursing Home on Tuesday, September 19, 2023 where she resided for the last 11 months.

She was the only child of Lewis A. Overdurf and Gladys L. Rissell Overdurf.  Joan was born in Denver, Colorado on July 5, 1926 and moved to Pennsylvania when she was a youngster.

Joan graduated from South Williamsport High School in 1944 and attended Miss Wheaton’s Business School.

She was married to Jack H. Livingston for 50 years until his death, living all that time in Loyalsock.  She worked at the Williamsport Hospital as a secretary in Rehab for many years.

Joan is survived by her daughter; Lesley of Lewisburg, two grandchildren; Jennifer Clark Tebbs of Williamsport and Bradley Livingston Tebbs of Louisville, KY and his family, wife Shawna and son, Jackson Cole Tebbs.

She was an avid card player and at one time was in seven card clubs a month.  She enjoyed shopping, bowling and travel.

Upon her cremation, she will be interred in the Montoursville Cemetery and per her request, she wanted no flowers or service.  Because she loved dogs and always had one, if you are so inclined, donations may be made to the Lycoming County SPCA, 2805 Reach Road, Williamsport, PA 17701.

Arrangements are being handled by Maneval Allen Redmond Funeral Home, 500 W. 4th St., Williamsport.
