MUNCY - Joann L Eichenlaub, 65, passed away early Wednesday morning, January 12, 2022 at the Gatehouse in Williamsport. She was born April 3, 1956 in Lewisburg, the daughter of John and Mary (Smith) Wagner. Joann was married to Grant D. “Zeke” Eichenlaub for over 30 years; he passed away this past April 17, 2021.
Joann was a member of the Community Christian Church of Allenwood for over 30 years. She was the Assistant Director of Library Services at the Pennsylvania College of Technology. Joann received her Undergraduate Degree in Paralegal studies from Pennsylvania College of Technology and her Masters of Science Degree in Library Information from Drexel University. She received her certification in Copyright from the Harvard Law School. Joann was a member of the Library Association, a member of the Pennsylvania Steering Committee and was the Chair of the Pennsylvania Forward Star Library Project Team. She also served as Chair of the West Branch Chapter of the Pennsylvania Library Association. She was also a member of the ACLCP Programming Committee. Joann thoroughly enjoyed horseback riding and being with Kathy Huggins and her departed sister, Judy. She loved spending time with her family and her grandchildren.
Her survivors include her two sons, Grant Dale Eichenlaub, III (Stephanie), of Milton and Wyett J. Eichenlaub, of Muncy; her two grandsons, Wyett Ray and Anthony Grant Eichenlaub. Joann is also survived by three sisters, Jane Neitz (Robert), of Lake Aerial, June Flannery (Michael), of Muncy and Teresa Nicholas (Steve), of Turbotville, along with her brother-in-law, Robert Miller.
Memorial service will be held 12:00 p.m. (noon) Saturday, January 29, 2022 at the Community Christian Church, 16606 US Rte. 15, Allenwood, PA.
