Josephine Canfield Obituary

Josephine M. Canfield, 74, of Williamsport, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 21, 2019 at her home. She was born in Williamsport on Sept. 20, 1945 to late Joseph and Edna (Mayer) Stutzman. Josephine worked as a bartender at Ann’s Tavern, Williamsport. 

Surviving is the love of her life, Kenny Shaffer, Williamsport; a son, Raymond Kozen, Jr. (Danielle), Manchester; two daughters, Susan Young (Andrew) and Lisa Kozen (Gary Wiesner, Jr.), bot of Williamsport; eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, a brother, Joseph Stutzman, Jr. (Cathy), Williamsport, and a sister, Jeannie Hornberger, Williamsport.

In addition to her parents, Josephine is preceded in death by her husband, Charles “Chuck” Canfield, a great-granddaughter, Ellianna, and a sister, Peggy Fultz. 

A Celebration of Life Service for Josephine will be held on Friday, Dec. 27, 2019 Maneval Allen Redmond Cremation & Funeral Home, 500 W. Fourth St., Williamsport at 11:00am with Pastor Robert Wallace officiating. Family and friends are invited to attend a viewing from 10am-11am at the funeral home on Friday.
