WILLIAMSPORT - Marlene M. (Anderson) Hritzko, 88, passed away Friday, November 3, 2023 at Valley View Rehab and Nursing, Montoursville.

She was married on February 11, 1956 to the late Richard P. Hritzko, who passed away on January 24, 2004.

Marlene was born on January 7, 1935 in Renovo and was the daughter of the late Kenneth Anderson and Mariam (Cummings) Smiley. She graduated from Renovo High School and had worked at Sears where she had retired. She was a member of the former Trinity United Methodist Church.

She is survived by one daughter; Laurie K. McCloskey (David) of Linden, two grandchildren; Eric D. McCloskey of Linden and Nikki A. McCloskey of Williamsport and two great grandchildren; Mariah Mumford and Tayvan McCloskey. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her step-father; Lester Smiley. A special thank you to Paul Nyman and Lynda Smith for their caregiving of Marlene over the years.

Graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family in North Bend Cemetery, Renovo.

Arrangements are being handled by Maneval Allen Redmond Funeral Home, 500 W. 4th St., Williamsport.
