Mary Lou Missigman Obituary

COGAN STATION - Mary Lou (Holmes) Missigman, passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at UPMC Susquehanna, Williamsport. She was born in Williamsport on September 4, 1941 to the late Russel and Sophie (Shuman) Holmes.

Mary Lou was a member of Church of the Savior. She worked for the Williamsport Water Authority and retired after 30 years of service. She was a member of the Duboistown Garden Club and Williamsport High School Band Parents. Mary Lou ushered for many years at the Community Arts Center. She enjoyed flowers, crafting and painting, but her greatest treasure was spending time with her family and friends.

Mary Lou is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Frank M. Missigman, two daughters, Deb L. Harris (Irv)of Cogan Station and Darlene L. Hepler (Rob) of Williamsport; seven grandchildren, Kelsey Harris, Trevor Harris, Megan Aunkst (Zack), Rebekah Hepler, Catherine Hepler, Mollie Hepler and Alex Hepler. In addition to her parents, Mary Lou is preceded in death by a sister, Louise Holmes.

The funeral service will be held Friday, February 21, 2020 at 11:30 a.m. at the Maneval Allen Redmond Cremation & Funeral Home, 500 W. Fourth St. Williamsport with Deacon Shelby Wyland, Chaplain UPMC Williamsport officiating. Family and friends are invited to attend the public viewing on Friday from 10:00 - 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1948 East Third St., Williamsport, PA 17701 or the Duboistown Garden Club c/o Darlene Stannert, 225 W. 8th Ave., South Williamsport, Pa 17702.
