Scott Watson Obituary

WILLIAMSPORT - On Sunday, December 8, 2019, the Heavens opened, and God called home his child Scott Lamont Watson.

Scott was born on June 15, 1962, in Newark, NJ, to Arthur Lee and Connie Patricia (Ashford) Watson.  From an early age, Scott’s parents instilled in him the value and importance of family, respect for others, love for God and to never accept the proverbial wooden nickel. As a result, people from all walks of life were drawn to him. His humor and quick wit, along with his infectious laugh, were just part of his charm. He was well known for his sound advice, brilliant mind, and his gift of discernment. Scott had a special way of making everyone around him feel loved and protected.

Scott, beloved husband of 20 years to Rebecca Robson-Watson, loving and proud father of Xzavier S., Malachi N.E., Scott Anthony L., Ariana R., Ashley N., and Shawna M. Doting Pop-Pop to Miya-Nicole, Keegan, Paxton, and Roman.

Scott was and always will be our rock, our provider, our protector and we will continue to seek his guidance from above.

Surviving in addition to Scott’s wife, children and grandchildren are his brothers James (Bernice) Watson, Joe Watson, Anthony Watson, Allan (Stephanie) Watson, Jeffrey Watson and sisters Jacqueline Makle, Marcia Sanks, Martine Watson (Eric), Treacy (Robert) Rogers and a cousin who was very close to his heart, Ercelle Spellman.

Scott has many nieces, nephews and cousins that he loved immensely.

Scott is preceded in death by his father Arthur Lee, his mother Connie Patricia, his brother Arthur Lee Jr. (Arty), brother-in-law Lionel Makle, and cousin Michael Ashford.
