Susan D. (Kozen) Young

WILLIAMSPORT - Susan D. (Kozen) Young, 57, passed away Saturday, January 22, 2022 at UPMC Susquehanna, Williamsport.

She was married on November 24, 1984 to Andrew E. Young, who survives, and they would have shared 38 years of marriage in November.

Susan was born on July 22, 1964 in Williamsport and was the daughter of Raymond Kozen of Jersey Shore and of the late Josephine (Stutzman) Canfield.  She had worked as a caregiver and she enjoyed bingo, shopping, lottery tickets the beach and especially her dog “Lucas Marie”.

In addition to her father and husband, she is survived by one son; Andrew Young (Cristen Post) of Jersey Shore, two daughters; Ashley Weiss (Ryan) of S. Williamsport and Stacy Morton of Williamsport, seven grandchildren; Abagail Young, Kevin Larry, Alex Larry, Riley Ritter, Aiden Ritter, Sadie Ritter and Loraine Morton, three brothers; Raymond Kozen (Danielle) of Manchester, Chris Kozen (Traci) of Texas and Shane Kozen (Jill) of Williamsport, one sister; Lisa Kozen (Gary Wiesner) of Williamsport and step-mother; Jeannine Kozen of Jersey Shore.  In addition to her mother; she was predeceased by granddaughter; Ellianna Hinston, son-in-law; Thane Ritter, father-in-law; Amos Young and aunt; Peggy Fultz.

There will be a public viewing 5 – 7 p.m. Friday, January 28, 2022 at Maneval Allen Redmond Funeral Home, 500 W. 4th St., Williamsport.  All other services will be private at the convenience of the family.
