Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.

Please accept my condolences on the passing of Charlie Caffrey, a highly regarded lawyer of great integrity. Charlie was always very kind to me and to younger members of the Bar. Charlie’s service to our profession, the community, and the nation will not be forgotten.

Lucy and I were very saddened by Charles' passing. Brother Jimmy and I had best of intentions to attend funeral the service, but weather and family sickness derailed those plans. I think of Charles every time I look at a picture of my dad. They were very close and one of the last times we saw each other he gave me letters that my father had written to him during the war. I read them on occasion and it reminds me of the wonderful relationship that he and my father had. It also reminds me of the importance of family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

To The Caffery Family,
The world lost a great guy last week. He was my friend. It was difficult to visit him when he did not know anyone. I am sure he is at peace with god.

My wife and I are saddened to learn of Charles passing. I have never enjoyed a relationship more than the one I was privileged to have interacting with "Charlie". His intellect and professionalism was the highest imaginable. Rest in peace Sir!

Mike and Brian, we are in South Carolina but read of your father's passing. So sorry to hear of your loss. I did not really know your father but I think he walked his dog by our house frequently when we lived on Highland. Reading his obituary, he lived an interesting and full life. I now know where you guys get your intellect and wit. Wishing you the best in this difficult time.
